HessenCon 2007 takes place at the youth hostel in Frankfurt am Main. There we have pre-booked some single, double and quad rooms and a large room where the gaming will take place. Since the pre-booking phase is over, we ask you to find an accomodation of your own.

Many of you will probably be going to Frankfurt by Auto. Here is how you get to the venue:
From the north:
Take the Autobahn A5 up to "Bad Homburger Kreuz", then Autobahn A661 towards Offenbach, and leave the Autobahn at the exit Offenbach-Kaiserlei.
From the south:
Take the Autobahn A3 at "Frankfurter Kreuz" towards Würzburg up to Offenbacher Kreuz. Change there to Autobahn A661 towards Offenbach and leave the Autobahn at the exit Offenbach-Kaiserlei.
From east or west:
Take the Autobahn A3 up to "Offenbacher Kreuz". Change there to Autobahn A661 towards Offenbach and leave at the exit Offenbach-Kaiserlei.
From Offenbach-Kaiserlei: Leave the roundabout towards Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen. Drive along the Main about 3 km. The road turns to the left, then to the right after about another 500 m. There you should take the right one of the two lanes that go to the left. After the next traffic light (Street: Deutschherrnufer) you reach the youth hostel on the left side (after about 100 m). Right ahead across the next junction you find on the lefthand side the parking garage "Walter-Kolb-Strasse". If you are lucky you might also find a parking lot in the vicinity.
Since there are only a few parking sites in the vicinity of the youth hostel and the hostel does not have a car park, we advise you to use public transport to get to the venue.

Please use the email-addresses in the list of participation to form carpools. Of course we are always prepare to help you planning your travel.
If anyone wants to travel by train, they may use the services of Deutsche Bahn AG. You leave Frankfurt main station via the main exit and go right to the bus stops. There you take Bus 46 towards "Mühlberg". This bus runs a 30-minute cycle. Leave the bus at the bus stop "Frankensteiner Platz". Form there you have to backtrack about 40 m to the entrance of the youth hostel. Since the bus does not run in the evenings and only a few times at weekends, you should at those times leave the main station through the main exit and take the tram 16 towards Offenbach Stadtgrenze up to "Lokalbahnhof", this will take approx. 20 minutes. Form the bus stop walk along Dreieichstraße northwards to the river Main. Turn left on "Deutschherrnufer". After another approx. 100 m you finally reach the youth hostel on the lefthand side of the street.
If you want to travel by plane we recommend the airlines Ryanair and Air Berlin. Or you try the more expensive Lufthansa. If you arrive at the airport Hahn you can take the shuttle bus to Frankfurt main station. From there follow the description above (public transport). All other airlines arrive at Frankfurt airport. From the airport S-Bahn trains to Frankfurt leave about every 15 minutes from the lower station. Take S-Bahn S8 towards Hanau and leave the train at "Hauptbahnhof Frankfurt". Continue via public transport as described above.
